Terms of Service
Last updated · 2026-06-01
These Terms govern your use of Wikipls, a hosted documentation-wiki service operated by The Tiny Rock LLC (“Wikipls”, “we”, “our”). By signing in or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Wikipls reads repositories you authorize and generates a hosted documentation wiki from the code, served at wikipls.com. It keeps that wiki current by updating the affected pages when you merge pull requests. Wikipls is read-only on your code and does not write to your repository (an optional “export” feature opens a pull request only when you explicitly request it).
Wiki visibility follows your repository. If a repo is public, its wiki is publicly accessible at a wikipls.com URL and may be indexed by search engines. If a repo is private, access to its wiki is restricted to members of the GitHub App installation that owns it. You are responsible for the visibility of the repositories you connect.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure.
3. Subscriptions and billing
We offer a free tier (one public wiki, 25 automatic updates per month), a Pro tier ($19/mo, private wikis and up to five repos), and a Team tier ($49/mo, unlimited). Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Dashboard → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Their Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the payment transaction itself.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Failed payments will downgrade your account to the free tier after a three-day grace period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Wikipls to process repositories you do not own or have not been authorized to modify.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our system prompts or internal logic.
- Use Wikipls to generate content that violates the Anthropic Usage Policy, GitHub Terms, or any applicable law.
- Resell or sublicense the service to third parties without our written consent.
- Bypass tier limits, rate limits, or pricing — including by creating multiple accounts.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to your code, documentation, and Jira tickets. By using Wikipls you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable license to read this content, and to generate, store, and serve a documentation wiki derived from it, solely to provide the service to you. For public repositories this license includes displaying the generated wiki publicly. We do not train models on your content and do not share it with third parties other than as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-generated output
Wiki content and chat answers are produced by a large language model (Anthropic Claude). Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date relative to the underlying code, and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth. You are responsible for verifying anything important against your actual codebase.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee it. We may schedule maintenance windows, and outages of GitHub, Anthropic, or other upstream providers may affect availability. We are not liable for losses caused by such outages.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your payment fails repeatedly, or if we reasonably believe your usage is fraudulent or abusive. We will notify you at the email on file when feasible.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the AI-generated documentation is correct or free of errors.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars. In no event are we liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the service in violation of these Terms, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
